Gladys GarroteDisrupting Borders-Latin Art in the Metaverse
Latin Art in the Metaverse:
Latinamerican art has traditionally been conditioned by its peripherical situation and its relationship with the Western art centers. The decentralization offered by the Internet and blockchain technology allows geographic and political borders not to limit the creative potential, the positioning of artists, and the union of individuals. It is in the interest of this exhibition to showcase a group of artists who are representative of the digital revolution of Latin art in its most varied expressions: photography, digital painting, drawing, 3d Art, animation, performance, music, poetry, architecture, and illustration. Disrupting borders intends to show the strength and potential of these new technologies for art through the diversity of proposals, interests, and contexts from which Latinamerican NFT art is produced.
